During the planning phase, your eligibility for supported independent living is assessed. Together, you and the NDIS planner will evaluate your needs, objectives, and functional capacity. They take into account things like your living situation, support systems, degree of disability-related needs, and any unofficial help that may already be in place. They'll decide if SIL is a good fit for you based on this evaluation and the medical documentation you submit.
